  Lovely cafe located in Cong, near the abbey. Good selection of fresh food including salads, sandwiched and cakes. I had the warm goat's cheese salad which was one of the best I have ever had. I arrived at 1pm on a Tuesday and had to wait for a few minutes for a table. Can imagine it gets very busy on weekends. Staff were friendly and solicitous. Credit cards accepted.

  Phenomenal food and service. My wife and I stopped in for a quick breakfast before a tour and had only 15 minutes to spare. The staff was very helpful I suggesting food, quick food. We ended up with ham and cheese croissants and they were delicious. We were pleasantly surprised by the combination of friendlt service, great food, and reasonable prices. I highly recommend The Hungry Monk any time you are in Cong.

  Another delicious lunch, followed by a fabalous home baked dessert with great service, a must visit when in Cong.

  Food was fine, service was quite good. Bit dull interiors wise, the design just feels dark and not very welcoming. The coffee was very disappointing, poorly made and way too much water to espresso ratio. Shame really. I know it's a local roaster but local doesn't equal good if you don't know how to make a coffee.
